CFO Qualifications: I’ve been making videos since I was 12 years old (forcing my friends and siblings to make music videos with me to Mily Cyrus songs) - and I still love it! I love the whole video creation process: planning the videos, shooting, and editing. This CFO position would be a dream because it combines my two passions of fashion and inspiring others through video. I started taking my TIkTok account seriously about a year ago and have now grown to almost 138 K followers. I understand how TikTok works and how to grow a personal brand (in fashion and lifestyle category) and a loyal following. I create high quality videos, but I think I have been successful on TikTik ao far because I try to provide value while also showing my personality and by just having fun with it! It makes me so happy that I am viewed as a friend to a lot of my followers, not just someone who tries on a lot of clothes! I love helping women feel confident in themselves whether that be through the clothes they wear or just by relaying the message of “hey you’re doing a great job, keep it up!” I love the community I have built and it would be an honor to do the same with ROOLEE’s amazing brand and message!

World of Sisters/Girl Up: Exploring the world + learning about different cultures is a huge part of who I am. In college I lived in Thailand for 4 months teaching english. After I graduated, my husband and I lived in Paraguay for 5 months working with a startup. We then were hefy leaders together in samoa for a month working with youth that came on the trip as well as the local somoan leaders. I have had so many wonderful experiences with women throughout my travels and I love that creating a worldwide sisterhood and supporting an amazing nonprofit for girls and women is a part of ROOLEE. I think there are several ways ROOLEE’s TikTik account can be an asset to ROOLEE’s mission: whether that be participating in and filming service projects, promoting articles of clothing dedicated to charity donations, or rocking ROOLEE’s activewear while joining girls up’s global fitness challenges! I definitely think that a community is formed through a greater purpose other than just “cute clothes” and I think ROOLEE has an amazing message to share and people will respond so positively to that! It’s been great to see the progress the world as a whole has made regarding women equality. I love there is still so much more progress to be made, and it’s extinct that ROOLEE is helping to promote that change! I also travel for free currently because my husband worked at an airline, so I’d be available and support Girls up in multiple capacities wherever I am needed!

World of Sisters/Girl Up: My favorite part of being a photographer is giving women a confidence boost and making them feel beautiful. So often we focus on our flaws, and I strive to bring out the beauty in each of our imperfections! ROOLEE’s World of Sisters mission is all about building a community of uplifting women that embrace their differences, and I feel that I can do just that by spreading positive and encouraging messages on my TikTok videos. Occupation: Just finished my last day as a Barista at a local coffee shop in June, however, I’m starting a new career as a Women’s Coach/strategist through a program called the Women’s School dedicated to helping women achieve their dreams, develop necessary life and mind management skills, and live out their dignity!

Education: Graduated as valedictorian of my business school as a Marketing major with a minor in Small Business Development/Entrepreneurship.

Hobbies: I am a very passionate woman and so, as a result, am woman of many hobbies - In the last year I have finally learned how to surf, I’ve rediscovered my love of reading (fictional and philosophy are my favorite), I’ve started learning Spanish and Korean just because I love learning new languages, and I converted my career of photography back into a hobby to rediscover my freedom and creativity within the field. I’ve also recently began kickboxing in an effort to heal my mindset surrounding movement and personal health. For the first time I’m seeing movement as life-giving instead of seeing it as a means of losing weight and I’m obsessed! Finally - one of my greatest joys in life is finding a local coffee shop and sitting there for hours - talking to women, reading a book, or just people watching!

CFO Qualifications: When I read this job description I almost cried because of how perfect I felt for this role. I’ve spent the last five years of my life running a fashion Instagram called Just a Handmaiden dedicated to teaching women about their dignity and about how the way we dress can communicate that dignity to the world. This blog has taught me so much about how to engage with my audience and create content they will not only love but also find useful (My current engagement rate is 8% vs industry standard of 4%). I have learned the ins and outs of how to create Reels, Tik Toks, stories, and captions in a way that is both unique enough to set me apart while understanding the trends people are enjoying. Throughout these last five years I’ve develop skills in content planning, story board creation, and brand voice adoption all of which are essential skills of the Roolee CFO. I have also spent the last four years working with small businesses helping them develop brand stories, marketing strategies, and social media feeds that can be translated into cohesive content creation that not only increases their follower count, but also their sales. Finally, ever since I was a little girl creating and styling outfits for myself and others has been one of my greatest joys. There is so much creativity and beauty in fashion and have DREAMED of partnering with a company like Roolee to create a branded clothing line that dignifies every woman. This last year has taught me that my ultimate vocation in life is to create beauty and help women recognize their dignity and this job is the perfect combination of both of these things.

World of Sisters/Girl Up: The best part of my fashion blog is that I have spent the last five years of my life communicating with women about their joys, insecurities, struggles, and victories making me so aware of the female heart and mind. Roolee’s dedication to gender equity and serving the WHOLE woman (and not just her closet) is one of the reasons I first fell in love with this company. Even though I’ve dreamed of working within the fashion industry I’ve always been hesitant because I could not work for a company that does not put the hearts of women before sales but I do not feel that hesitation at Roolee. I dream of creating content similar to the Tik Tok that I submitted within round two affirming the dignity of women. I already have ideas for different challenges and potential trends surrounding Roolee products that address comparison and competition in the hearts of women and encourages women to come together. A woman’s fashion & personal style are so linked to how she sees herself and I do not take that lightly when creating styling content. Honestly, supporting Roolee’s mission of serving women would be a no brainer for me because it is something that I’m already dedicated to doing everyday of my life. At the end of the day, fashion is meant to be fun - its meant to unite cultures, inspire confidence in the heart of women and, and bring joy! World of Sisters/Girl Up: Each month, Roolee’s CFO will be given a $750 clothing allowance. I would love to use a portion of this money to launch a campaign called Sisters of Roolee. Sisters of Roolee would work with local charities to gift new clothes to one deserving woman each month. The recipient could be anyone! A healthcare worker, a new mom, or a woman who maybe can’t afford clothes for an upcoming job interview. Launching Sisters of Roolee would be a great way for us to give back and create true sisterhood within our local communities.

CFO Qualifications: I downloaded TikTok when I was 39 weeks pregnant. My family and I created a few before I had my daughter, but I didn’t become passionate about it until after giving birth. My creative juices were always flowing during those middle of the night breastfeeding sessions! I am not a perfect photographer or videographer, but I have uncovered a creative side to myself that I love. One of my favorite things about the app is one moment I could be crying from a tender video and the next swipe I could feel completely empowered.

World of Sisters/Girl Up: Since moving to Utah, I changed a lot in my life. My husband took me to Roolee for the first time back in 2018, and I was so thrilled. I have always loved that I am able to find clothes that make me feel confident and beautiful, but that are also modest. I hope that I would be able to inspire women and teens that they are all beautiful! It’s so important to create a safe space for women. I want my daughter to grow up with girls who lift each other up and spread kindness, and that begins with us! We set the tone for the next group of girls destined to live in a world of social media. We can turn social media into a positive outlet and a platform. In addition to creating a platform with Roolee, I could not be more thrilled about the opportunity to support Girl Up. It is imperative that gender equality be a topic of conversation, and that is exactly what I would like to portray! Women are able to create policy change, and I would be honored to help spread awareness.

CFO Qualifications: From a young age, what I wore and how I wore it has been what inspires me most in life. In college I studied apparel design and had the opportunity to design and create my own line of dresses. I continued to work in fashion and was chosen out of over 2000 applicants to work as an intern for Nordstrom. I learned so much from my mentors there about merchandising, styling, catering to customers, and so much more. After college I started focusing more on fashion in social media. In 2019 I downloaded TikTok for the first time. I’ll never forget posting my first video, thinking nothing of it, then coming back a few days later and seeing it had 100k views! It was then I realized TikTok was going to be something special and that I needed to learn how it worked, QUICKLY! I have since grown my TikTok to almost 100k followers and know that success on the platform is found in consistency, creativity, timing, and knowing your audience. My goal now is to grow Roolee as a company through Tik Tok. I know the possibilities & potential and I know how to get us there. I want to see the community of sisters grow through this platform. I want more girls out there to know this company that stands for self love & confidence which is so important in the world today.

World of Sisters/Girl Up: Girl Up means a lot to me. Social media can be a wonderful & exciting place, but can sometimes be a place that makes us feel inferior, anxious, and like we never can “keep up.” It can be hard not to get caught up in the numbers or comparing ourselves to our friends and those we follow. I love the idea to instead think of everyone as sisters who are striving to become the best version of themselves! Like Kylee, I have a very close bond with my sisters. We are constantly facetiming and texting each other and my world would be a lonely place without them! The world of sisters campaign is very special to me because of the money that was raised for Women’s Cancer. My husband lost his mother to breast cancer 10 years ago this September. I never had the chance to meet her but I know she is with us every day and watches over our family. In February, we had our baby girl and named her after her grammie, Mary. I hope to be able to continue this growth for Roolee and give back to many meaningful causes!
