@cleanmyspace You aren’t getting my money, ultrasonic jewelry cleaners! Nope. Cleaning gold jewelry is SO easy and costs PENNIES. I use dish soap, a cleaning toothbrush (aka a used, SOFT BRISTLE toothbrush), and water. I’m also using my Maker’s Clean flat weave cloth for polishing up. This took me about 3 minutes to do, and would have taken way less time had I not been filming. . My mom had this at home (circa 1997) and I asked if I could wear it. I’m so glad I was able to polish it up and enjoy its sparkle! I use this same method to clean my engagement ring as well. I DO NOT worry about micro scratching (spider webbing) from the bristles for 2 reasons: 1) when we wear jewelry, we will scratch it anyway just by being out and about. 2) every few years, beautiful pieces like this can be ‘dipped’ to restore the originals lustre of a piece. I do this with my engagement ring. .
