Mornings are crucial when determining the outcome of your day. It’s important to set yourself up for a successful and productive day. We have five simple ways to help you start your day right!
1. Make your bed
Making your bed is a simple but effective way to begin your morning! It can help you feel organized and productive and it only takes a few minutes to complete. The benefits are worth it because it reduces stress and even helps you get a better night's sleep.
2. Eat breakfast
Eating a yummy breakfast is the perfect way to fuel your body for the day ahead. If you have time, there are lots of different options to try; eggs, toast, and muffins just to name a few! Overnight oats and cereal are great alternatives if your time is limited. Whatever you decide, it's very important to make time for breakfast each and every day.
3. Drink water
Drinking water first thing in the morning has so many emotional and physical advantages! You'll feel more awake and alert during the day + staying hydrated reduces your chance of getting sick. Try leaving a full glass of water by your bed as a morning reminder.
Early Stretch + Morning Meditation = A Great Day! Stretching is a great time to relax your mind and prepare you for any stress that you might encounter later. Dedicate a few minutes to warming up your mind and body for a fresh start! You can make this as simple or as complicated as you would like, but don’t get too crazy.
5. Write down a schedule
Writing down a schedule is the perfect way to plan your day. Include appointments, plans, activities, and anything you don't want to forget. You can make the list decorative + detailed or sweet + simple. Make it yours!
